The fifth Ethnospor Culture Festival was held in Istanbul on June 9.

SBS told APA that the event was organized by the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the participation of representatives of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Japan, Paraguay, Morocco, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Gambia, Mexico and Libya. It was represented by a 60-member cavalry detachment and a dance ensemble of the Border Service.

Within the framework of the festival, a meeting was held between its organizer, President of the World Ethnospor Confederation Bilal Erdogan and President of the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elchin Guliyev.

Bilal Erdogan noted that he was honored to participate in the festival of the Azerbaijani delegation, that he was very pleased with the magnificent performances of our representatives at these events, which have already become a tradition, and that the Karabakh horses once again fascinated all spectators.

During the meeting, the issue of holding the Ethnospor Culture Festival in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan in September of this year was discussed.

The special show-composition performed by our representatives on the opening day of the festival on Karabakh horses, which are considered an important part of the ancient history and rich culture of Azerbaijan, is considered to be our material and cultural wealth.

The festival will feature competitions in 12 traditional sports, including archery, oil wrestling and horse racing.

More than a million people are expected to attend the four-day event.
