German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is expected in Sofia today.

His visit is part of a Balkan tour that includes Kosovo, Serbia, Greece and northern Macedonia.

Scholz will meet with Prime Minister Kiril Petkov

Kiril Petkov Petkov was born in 1980. He is one of the founders of the Center for Economic.

In the Council of Ministers, the two will talk in private.

The talks between Petkov and Scholz will focus on the possibilities for deepening bilateral relations, as well as current topics on the international and European agenda, including the challenges related to the war in Ukraine, energy security in Europe, European integration in the Western Balkans and others.

After the plenary talks, the two leaders will hold a joint press conference.

Rumen Georgiev Radev is a Bulgarian military man, a major general in the reserve.

The former commander will not meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the press office of the head of state announced.

Yesterday, Scholz was in Kosovo and Serbia, and this morning he will visit Skopje, followed by Sofia.
