According to data from the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), Delhi's air quality index (AQI) was recorded in the poor (315) category at around 9 am.

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 very poor, and 401 and 500 severe.

Trees were seen uprooted at many places in the surrounding areas of Mumbai.

In Thane, a tree collapsed and fell on the tempo.

He said that some parts of Northwest India including Delhi-NCR may get some relief on June 11-12 and the weekend will be cloudy but there is no chance of rain.
