One person died after a residential building collapsed in Shastri Nagar, Bandra West of Mumbai on Wednesday night.

This information has been given by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.

According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, one person died after a G+2 structure collapsed in Shastri Nagar, Bandra West, Mumbai on Wednesday night.

While 16 people have been injured in this accident.

The injured are being treated in the hospital. 

BMC tweeted, "One person has unfortunately died due to G+2 house collapse in Shastri Nagar. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. 16 people were admitted with minor injuries. Injury reports are awaited, rescue operation is still on.
