The Azerbaijani Formula 1 Grand Prix will start in Baku tomorrow.

According to Apasport.az, the first free races and track testing of cars are planned for the first day of the competition, which will be held in the capital for the sixth time.

The first stage of the race will begin with a free race of Formula 2 participants.

In the 8th test of the season, at 15:00, the Formula 1 drivers will start on the starting line.

After this race, the "substitutes" will start fighting again.

They will determine their ranks for the next day.

In the last race of the first day, Formula 1 participants will hold their second free practice.

June 11 and 12 are the main days for the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

On Saturday, sprint races are planned in Formula 2, as well as the third freestyle and qualifying round in Formula 1.

The final race in Formula 2 will be held on June 12.

After that, preparations for the main fight will begin.

There will be a parade of pilots, an opening ceremony and the Azerbaijani national anthem.

The Grand Prix will start at 15:00.

After about 2 hours of competition, the winners of the stage will be awarded.

As in the previous race, 20 pilots from 10 teams will participate in this stage.

Sergio Perez and Max Ferstappen in the Red Bull team, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sains in the Ferrari team, Luis Hamilton and George Russell in the Mercedes team, Daniel Riccardo in the McLaren team, Lando Norris and Alfa Romeo Zhou Guanyu, Valtteri Bottas, Alpin's Fernando Alonso, Esteban Okon, Alpha Tauri's Pierre Gasly, Yuki Tsunoda, Haas' Kevin Magnussen, Mick Schumacher, Aston Martin's Sebastian Fett , Lance Stroll, Alexander Albon and Nicholas Latifi will check the speed of Williams.

The start and finish lines of the race will be at Freedom Square.

Starting from here, the cars will go around Maiden Tower, Icheri Sheher and Azneft circle and make 51 counterclockwise turns.

It should be noted that Max Ferstappen from Red Bull is the leader in the pilot competition with 125 points after 7 stages of the season, which started on March 20 in Bahrain.

He is followed by Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc (1116 points) and another Red Bull representative Sergio Perez (110).

In the team standings, Red Bull is first with 235 points.

Ferrari is second with 199 points and Mercedes is third with 134 points.
