Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has announced the only reason for his country's veto on Finland and Sweden's accession to NATO.

APA's Moscow correspondent reports that the Turkish Foreign Minister said at a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov that the only reason for his country's veto on Finland and Sweden's accession to NATO is their position on the terrorist problem.

"The only reason for Turkey's veto of Finland and Sweden's entry into NATO is its position on the issue of terrorism, there is no other reason," he said.
