Fire in the parking lot of Jamia Metro Station

New Delhi:

A fire broke out in the parking lot of Jamia University's metro station in Delhi this morning.

After which seven fire tenders reached the spot to extinguish the fire.

At present the fire has been brought under control.

Several vehicles have been damaged in the fire.

Giving information, Fateh Chand said that 10 cars, 01 motorcycle, 02 scooties, 30 new e-rickshaws, 50 old e-rickshaws have caught fire in the metro parking.

However, it is a matter of relief that there are no casualties in this incident at the moment. 

Let us tell you that the news of fire was also reported late Tuesday night in the Ministry of Home Affairs located in North Block of Delhi.

According to the fire department, they received information about the fire around 12.18 pm last night.

After getting information about the fire, about 7 vehicles of the fire department were dispatched to the spot.

After about half an hour of effort, the fire was completely brought under control.
