The First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, received in a joint meeting the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Nikos Dendias.

In the official meeting of the two delegations, Dendias stressed the new, positive energy and potential of Kosovo, due to the low average age of the population and the reflection in the policies of the Government, which can serve as an example for the European Union.

For his part, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi affirmed Kosovo's development potential.

Bislimi thanked the state of Greece for its continued support to Kosovo and the Western Balkans, on the road to the European Union.

Dendias said the Western Balkans belong to the European family and Greece is committed to providing assistance and support to the region.

Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi also informed Minister Dendias on the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, emphasizing that the right path is that of dialogue mediated by the European Union, with the support of the United States of America, where Kosovo is and will remain maximally engaged in constructive approach, through proposals and alternatives to move towards a permanent and legally binding agreement with Serbia, the statement said.
