A tourist yacht sank off the coast of the town of Zvarnec, Vlora County, in southern Albania early this morning, the Albanian Daily News reported.

Italian tourists on board were rescued.

The yacht caught fire and sank in the English Channel

It is unclear whether the sinking of the yacht was due to technical damage or some other reason.

Police have arrived at the scene and are investigating the cause of the incident.
