Vetëvendosje Movement MP Fatmir Humolli has come out against his party's stance on the draft law on the minimum wage and benefits for war veterans.

Humolli says that the Minister of Finance himself has emphasized that war veterans will leave this law.

"If the minister had not emphasized that war veterans leave the law, he would have passed without any major problems," said the deputy on RTV Dukagjini, Telegrafi reports.

He adds that the Minister of Finance has politicized this law.

"The involvement of veterans in the issue of the minimum wage is a politicization.

The impression is being created that war veterans are a hindrance to workers.

This is an unfair action by our parliamentary group and Minister Murati.

The minister is behaving more calmly towards war veterans.

I have an obligation to be on the side of veterans even if they make mistakes or misbehavior.

"The government has not explained to the veterans about these changes."

The majority MP says that veterans have no responsibility for increasing their number by the Government Commission.

He says the issue of veterans cannot be considered a mere technical issue.

"We are living people who live and can not be considered only as technical issues," said Humolli. /
