The trial of Joshgun Ahmadov, accused of killing an acquaintance in Goranboy, has ended.

APA reports that the verdict was read in the Ganja Court of Grave Crimes, chaired by Judge Roman Alakbarli.

According to the verdict, Joshgun Ahmadov was sentenced to 17 years and 6 months in prison.

It should be noted that the Khojaly District Prosecutor's Office conducted an investigation into the discovery of fragments of an unknown person on November 13 last year in the area of ​​Balligaya village of Goranboy region.

Investigations revealed that on November 10, Yevlakh resident Joshgun Ahmadov, born in 1977, drove his acquaintance Gadir Alasgarov, born in 1968, from Yevlakh to Balligaya village of Goranboy region, where he stabbed him to death in the head. was made.

The district prosecutor's office launched a criminal case under Article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code. The officers of the district police department detained Joshgun Ahmadov as a suspect and handed him over for investigation.
