Streets and avenues closed and rerouted in connection with the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku have been announced.

The State Traffic Police Office of Baku Main Police Office told APA.

It was noted that the streets and avenues that will be closed and rerouted to ensure traffic safety in Baku during the event to be held in connection with the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix from June 6 to 13 are:

In the direction of Formula 1, Kovkeb Safaraliyeva, Richard Zorge, Pushkin, Bulbul, Samad Vurgun, Teymur Elchin, Mehdi Huseyn, Lermontov, Azerbaijan, Mikayel Useynov, Zargarpalan, Murtuza Mukhtarov, Sheikh Shamil, Afiyaddin Jalilov, Yusif Safar the direction of movement has been changed.

From Afiyaddin Jalilov-Mehdi Mehdizadeh streets to the right without crossing with Yusif Safarov, to the right on Yusif Safarov street only to 28 May street:

Those moving near the 20th area, Bayil settlement and Flag Square along the internal roads of Bayil settlement in the direction of Neftchi Gurban and Khanlar streets:

Traffic on the Baku-Salyan-Alat road from the Lokbatan circle on the 3rd Outer Ring Road through the Yasamal district:

Those moving from Baku-Zykh Road-Nobel Avenue, as well as Airport-Heydar Aliyev Avenue to the center, Najafgulu Rafiyev-Babek Avenue, from the 10th Factory Circle-Narimanov district, to Fatali Khan Khoyski Street:

Traffic is planned from Mehdi Huseyn Street to Lermontov Street and vice versa through Akhundov Park and Ahmad Javad Street.

Two-way traffic has been identified in Samad Vurgun Street from the intersection of Uzeyir Hajibeyov Street to the intersection of Fuzuli Street.

"We recommend drivers to use public transport from June 6 to June 13, restricting their movement in the direction of the center," the traffic police said.
