Today at about 16:30 in one of the recreation centers in Sheki, a vehicle overturned due to a malfunction in an ISUZU passenger bus driven by Elya Ahmadov, a resident of Aghdam region.

The Sheki regional group of the Interior Ministry's Press Service told APA that police, Ministry of Emergency Situations and ambulance brigades were immediately called to the scene and the injured were hospitalized.

An investigation is underway at the Sheki City Police Department.

It was noted that a total of 22 people, including 4 teachers, 2 parents and 16 students, came to Sheki from Samukh region for a walk.

It should be noted that, according to the information given by the DOCTOR, 11 people injured during the bus overturning in Sheki were admitted to the Central District Hospital at 17:10.

10 citizens were provided with first aid and released at about 18:30.

One person was diagnosed with blunt trauma to the lumbar region, fracture of the lumbar spine and is currently being examined.

The 112 hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) has received information that an Isuzu passenger bus fell into a ravine in Shaki and rescue services were needed.

APA reports quoting the Ministry of Emergency Situations that the relevant rescue forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations took the driver and 22 passengers out of the crashed vehicle with various injuries and handed them over to the relevant authorities.

Some details of the bus overturning in Sheki have been revealed.

APA's North-West bureau correspondent reports that the driver of the bus was Samukh resident Eyyar Kamil oglu Ahmadov, born in 1959.

An Isuzu bus with registration number 20 AY 305 driven by Eyyar Ahmadov overturned in a ravine.

There were 23 people on the bus with the driver at the time of the accident.

Those on the bus are residents of Samukh region.

16 of them are students and 6 are teachers or parents.

All the injured were taken to Sheki Central Hospital.

At present, the wounded are being examined and their identities are being clarified.

A bus carrying tourists overturned in Sheki.

APA's North-West bureau reports that an Isuzu bus with about 25 tourists overturned in a mountainous area in Mustafabeyov Recreation Center in Sheki at about 16.30 today.

There are injured in the accident.

A fire truck, personnel and rescuers of the Sheki State Fire Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were called to the scene.
