Slovakia will deliver eight self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine, the defense ministry said

Slovakia will supply Ukraine with eight Zuzana 2 self-propelled howitzers under a trade agreement signed by the state-controlled company, Reuters reported, citing the Slovak Ministry of Defense.

Zuzana 2 is an upgraded version of an older self-propelled howitzer.

It uses 155 mm projectiles and is effective in the range from 40 kilometers to over 50 kilometers, depending on the type of ammunition used.
