A fatal traffic accident occurred in Kurdamir.

APA's local bureau reports that the incident was recorded on the Agsu-Kurdamir-Imishli road passing through Tekle village of Kurdamir region.

A Mercedes minibus collided with a KAMAZ truck moving in the opposite direction.

As a result, the driver of the Mercedes, 64-year-old Ashrafov Elman Vazir oglu, a resident of Agsu region, and his passenger, 42-year-old Agayev Niyamaddin Babali oglu, died in the accident.

In addition, the driver of KamAZ, 53-year-old resident of Sheki region Ismayilov Faig Nagdali oglu and another passenger in the minibus, 57-year-old Ashrafova Firangiz Talib gizi were taken to Kurdamir Central Hospital with various injuries.

An investigation is underway.
