With 90 votes "for", no against and no abstentions, the Assembly today in the 64th session approved the Draft Law on amending and supplementing the Law on Agriculture and Rural Development by summary procedure.
Proponents of the law are a group of MPs from the ruling majority.
MP Dafina Stojanoska from OBRM-PDUKM said that the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly are not implemented and respected and that today's sessions of the Assembly are set at a distance of ten minutes, which means, as she said, that there will be no time for every speech after each point, why a speech lasts 10 minutes.
She added that in the Assembly it is not possible and there is no open debate and no space is left for the preparation of deputies.
"Despite all the misinformation, the parliamentary group of OBRM-PDUKM and the coalition 'Renaissance of Macedonia' gives full support to the draft law, but we still have certain remarks, which of course we must emphasize in our discussions," said Stojanoska.
He believes that the government does not exist, is not interested in work and added that the solution is quick and early elections.
OBRM-PDUKM deputies in the debate noted the current problems of farmers in the country and added that SDSM and DUI had the opportunity for correction, but did nothing.
They reminded the treatment of farmers, unpaid subsidies for farmers from 2021, 2020 and 2019 and stressed that the state has unpaid obligations to farmers, that farmers always deserve a better legal solution.
MP Ljubica Spasova from SDSM said that it is a lie that there is no money in the budget and that subsidies are not paid to farmers.
She said that the budget envisages one billion and 300 million denars and after the voting of this law and after its publication in the "Official Gazette", subsidies will be able to be paid immediately to farmers.
He stressed that it is not true that subsidies have not been paid so far and stressed that there are timely and non-selective payments.
The Speaker of the Assembly, Talat Xhaferi, after voting on the Draft Law on Amending and Supplementing the Law on Agriculture and Rural Development, in an abbreviated procedure, adjourned the 64th session and gave a five-minute break for the preparation of services.
After the break, the 54th session will continue, which will be chaired by the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Goran Misovski.
