On the sidelines of the Summit of Democracy of Southeast Europe, which is being held in Montenegro, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani met with the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovic.

In this meeting, Osmani and Abazovi kanë discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the possibilities for their further advancement.

President Osmani said that Kosovo appreciates and supports the cooperation with Montenegro in all areas, emphasizing the possibility of exchanging experiences for the European integration process.

Furthermore, the first state of Kosovo has requested the support of the Montenegrin government for Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe in particular, as well as in international organizations in general.

Osmani and Abazovic stressed once again the importance of cooperation between the countries of the region on this occasion.

The President stressed the importance of cooperation built on the premises of equality and inclusion, as well as the fact that Kosovo supports the continuation of cooperation within the Berlin process.
