North Korea fired three ballistic missiles in the early hours of the morning, the South Korean military said.

Authorities in Seoul claim that the rockets were fired in a space that is only an hour away from the trip to Pyongyang, reports Telegrafi.

The test was carried out a few hours after US President Joe Biden left Asia, where he had gone on an official trip.

The purpose of his visit to Asia was to strengthen measures against North Korea, which has accelerated the pace of ballistic missile testing since the beginning of this year.

On the other hand, Japan has confirmed that at least two missiles were fired, but according to them there may have been more.

South Koreans and US officials have previously warned that North Korea is preparing for a new test - which it will likely conduct during Biden's visit to Asia.
