Patna:

Last Friday, the CBI raided the residence of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Yadav from Delhi to Patna and his family members in connection with the land scam in exchange for jobs.

Bihar BJP's senior leader Sushil Kumar Modi is constantly asking questions to Rashtriya Janata Dal and Shivanand Tiwari on this.

Now Shivanand Tiwari has answered all his questions in a statement.

Sushil Modi said in two separate statements on Saturday and Sunday that Lalu Prasad had not got the beneficiary written off the land in return for giving him a job in the Railways, then why did Shivanand Tiwari give a memorandum to the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and demand a CBI inquiry?

Modi asked- Is it not right that Kanti Singh had gifted his house worth crores of Patna and Raghunath Jha gifted his house in Gopalganj to Lalu's family in exchange for making him a central minister?

Sushil Modi said, Lalu Prasad, tell how his family became the owner of 141 plots, more than 30 flats and more than half a dozen houses in Patna?

Modi said that it was Shivanand Tiwari who had demanded a CBI inquiry against Lalu Prasad in 2008, and when action is being taken on the basis of evidence, then he is giving it a political color.

Responding to this, senior RJD leader Shivanand Tiwari said that "Sushil Kumar Modi is an example in the politics of Bihar.

They just dived into the past and discovered that in 2008, we had accused Lalu Yadav of land.

That was not the question.

The question was that when the allegations were made in 2008, why did the CBI sleep on those allegations for 14 years since then?

Why did he wake up when the Chief Minister and the Leader of Opposition in Bihar agreed to conduct a caste-based census?

Why was this time chosen for the raid?

He said that "two clear motives are visible for this.

The first objective is to stop the caste based census, because the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is strongly opposed to the caste based census.

It is supportive of those sections who are occupying the resources of the country much more than the proportion of their numbers.

This will be revealed by the caste census and the marginalized society will start demanding a share in proportion to their numbers.

On the other hand, the closeness between Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav is seen increasing on the question of caste census.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is apprehensive about this.

The BJP remembers the result of the 2015 assembly elections very well.

It is being speculated that some attempt is being made to indirectly warn Nitish Kumar through the raid?

According to Shivanand, "This was the question, which Sushil Modi has not answered.

We would like to know from him that how and why did the CBI, which has been sleeping till now on the allegations leveled in 2008, suddenly become active after fourteen years?

Apart from politics, what else could be the purpose of this, Sushil ji?

Please enlighten us on this question.
