The World Economic Forum kicks off today in Davos, Switzerland.

APA reports quoting TASS that the meeting, which will last until May 26, will be held in normal mode for the first time since 2020.

Russian representatives will not attend the forum.

The forum, which brings together political and business elites, will discuss the situation in Ukraine, urgent humanitarian issues, security issues, economic recovery after the pandemic, the fight against climate change and the use of technologies of the fourth industrial revolution.

The Davos Economic Forum, traditionally held in January-February, was held online only in early 2021 and early 2022 due to coronavirus restrictions.
