A delegation of Georgian religious figures visited the Republic of Azerbaijan.

APA reports that as part of the ongoing visit of a delegation of Georgian religious figures to the Republic of Azerbaijan organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Georgia and supported by the Representation of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), the guests arrived in Fizuli after Agdam on May 21.

The guests first visited the mosque in Mardinli village.

Araz Imanov, an employee of the President's Special Representation, said that pigs were kept by Armenians in the mosque during the occupation, and presented to the guests the facts of insulting Islamic rituals.

Then the Georgian clerics visited Fizuli International Airport and got acquainted with the modern transport hub built there in a short time.

The guests were also informed about the Zangilan and Lachin airports being built in the liberated areas.
