A family of four died in a plane crash in the French Alps on Saturday, the Daily Mail reported.

The pilot also died in the accident.

A small tourist plane, with five people on board, was supposed to fly for 30 minutes, but it crashed shortly after taking off from an airport near Grenoble, southeastern France.

On the spot, the emergency services found the bodies of four adults and a child in the wreckage of the burned plane.

There is no information about the cause of the fatal accident.

The Grenoble prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the case.
