On May 21, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced the inclusion of 963 US citizens in the national "stop list".

This was reported on the website of the diplomatic mission.

US citizens who are on this list are barred from entering Russia on a permanent basis.

The list includes, among others, US President Joe Biden, his son Hunter Biden, CIA Director William Byrne, members of the House of Representatives from the Republican and Democratic parties, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, journalists, politicians, entrepreneurs, judges, lawyers, security forces, military three rabbis and even a psychiatrist.

A statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the sanctions were imposed "in the context of measures in response to the anti-Russian sanctions imposed by the United States."
