The Mayor of Prishtina, Përparim Rama, stated that the second test of the one-way circular ring today went better than in the previous test, while he added that they are gaining the lost spaces for the citizens.

Rama said that access to traffic, unlike the previous test, is easier.

He added that they are trying to regain the lost bicycle space.

"Testing is going much better than the first time.

This traffic access is much easier and faster.

Also, we must keep in mind that now we have a road which is special only for bicycles, the capital has gained a much larger space for the citizens of Pristina… We have done analysis with international experts and have seen that each measurement shows that there is noticeable improvement and the key point is that we are gaining the space we have lost in relation to the machine.

"We are creating another easier alternative opportunity for the citizens of Prishtina", said Rama.

Rama said that he sees the extension of "Mother Teresa" square to the cathedral as reasonable, while emphasizing that there will be various activities during the weekend.

"In the center of the capital we have extended the square 'Mother Teresa', to the cathedral.

Here today there are various events played football, basketball.

We have different events to celebrate spring.

There are a large number of positive aspects that are happening in the capital….

Until today, the citizens have nowhere to send their children, where to walk freely, now we have different spaces that are safe ", Rama emphasized.

According to him, urban traffic over the weekend has been free to increase the influx of citizens to go out without their cars.

As for the one-way roundabout, according to him, urban traffic will be free.

"We in the circular that goes around, we have dedicated buses which we will do free of charge.

Citizens can have free movement along the one-way roundabout.

"They will not need to take their car to the center of Pristina," he said.

Rama also spoke about the road "Muharrem Fejza", where he said that in addition to the asphalting they have done, they have managed to create green spaces for the citizens of that area.

"Muharrrem Fejza Street has had many problems.

When we took it to the capital's management we saw that it was totally destroyed, not well planned.

We had to take drastic measures and despite the problems we have had recently, we have found solutions for the benefit of the citizens in 'Muharrem Fejza' street.

Also, in addition to the asphalting, which we have done, we have also created green spaces.

"Now we are also doing the Landscape design of public spaces for new trees on that road", said Rama./Telegrafi/
