Ratan Lal, Associate Professor of Hindu College, Delhi University, was produced by Delhi Police in Tis Hazari Court on Saturday.

While hearing the case of Ratan, who was arrested for posting objectionable posts on social media on claims that Shivling was found in Varanasi's Gyanvapi Masjid complex, the court has granted him bail.

According to the police, Associate Professor Ratan Lal has been booked under Indian Penal Code sections 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, caste, place of birth, residence, language etc.) Do) was arrested by the Cyber ​​Police. 

In fact, a complaint was filed against him by Supreme Court lawyer Vineet Jindal.

In his complaint, he said that Ratan Lal had recently made a derogatory and provocative tweet on 'Shivling'.

Taking cognizance in this matter, the police took action.

But now the court has given them relief.
