Can we call an "umbrella" something that does not protect you from the rain ?!

Not in vain, people had a lot of questions after the new Adidas x Gucci collaboration product.

The companies have faced a lot of criticism in China, where social media users scoffed at the fact that it does not protect you from the rain and costs 11,000 yuan (1,230 euros).

Described as a "sun umbrella" on the Gucci website, the product from the upcoming Adidas x Gucci collection comes with a note stating that "it is not waterproof and is intended for sun protection or decorative use".

On the Weibo platform in China, a platform similar to Twitter, the hashtag "11,000 yuan tent is not waterproof" garnered more than 140 million views this week.

In a comment to Beijing-based magazine "Caijing", Gucci said the article "is not recommended for use as an everyday tent" and has "value for collectors and is suitable for use as an everyday accessory".

Despite Gucci's compelling reasons, people on Weibo said, "As long as we are poor, they will not be able to deceive us into paying for this tent."
