The official candidacy of Northern Macedonia followed the meetings that the director of the Public Security Bureau Sasho Tasevski, who leads the delegation of the Ministry of Interior, had on the sidelines of the Conference with the Secretary General of Interpol, Jirgen Shtok, as well as the conference chairman and deputy the President for Europe, Sharka Havranakova.
