Accelerated development through the use of new technologies, artificial intelligence and innovation is becoming a geopolitical and strategic issue in the 21st century, which is just as important for any country.

This is why it is important to invest in proper education in a timely manner.

Education, new technologies, as well as proper gender representation in technological and information sciences were the main topics of the panels that were discussed on the second day, the last one at this year's Summit "Macedonia 2025".

In the framework of the panel dedicated to gender equality, the representatives of the business community from our country and foreign countries, presenting their success stories, emphasized that through the joint commitment of business and governments, as well as through strategic investment in education, gender equality can be achieved.

Participants in this panel agreed that there are no male and female professions, but only future professions, in which everyone should have equal opportunities.

Kati Iceva, software engineer at Microsoft and member of the board of directors of "Macedonia 2025" presented the latest trends in corporate culture and the system for employment and advancement.

Canada's experiences and steps towards achieving greater gender equality and the inclusion of girls and women in technology and information science were shared by Giles Norman, Canadian Ambassador to Northern Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro.

On the second day of the summit, current topics were discussed, such as: artificial intelligence, "blockchain" technologies, the future of workforce development and global trends, but also their potential for development of countries and all regions, through greater cooperation.

Aco Momcilovic, director of the Global Institute for Ethics and Artificial Intelligence, presented the results of the country progress research and the value for rapid investment and staff training in this area.

In one of the panels, the potential of "blockchain" popular technologies and cryptocurrencies was discussed, ie the possible approaches to their implementation, as well as the benefits that those technologies bring.

The participants agreed that these are new technologies which have a large number of advantages, but also risks, due to which they must be carefully pursued and adequately used to their potential in the right direction.

Numerous business leaders, political actors, representatives of the academic and business community and the civil sector, as well as large companies and startups, participated in the 11th Summit "Macedonia 2025", which is being held yesterday and today in Skopje. and through the sharing of ideas for cooperation, contributed to building new opportunities for economic development.
