Doctors have removed 206 pieces of stone from the patient's kidney after an hour of surgery.

With the efforts of doctors, a 56-year-old man from Hyderabad got relief from six months of excruciating pain.

Doctors have taken out 206 pieces of stone from his kidney after an hour of surgery.

Doctors at Aware Gleneagles Global Hospital removed the stone through keyhole surgery from the kidney of Veeramalla Ramalakshmaiah, a resident of Nalgonda.

The patient was taking medicine from a local doctor for a long time but he was not getting relief.

The patient's routine was getting affected due to the constant pain.

Dr Poola Naveen Kumar, Senior Consultant Urologist at the hospital, said that preliminary examination and ultrasound scan revealed the presence of stones on the left side of the kidney.

Later, in another test, CT Kub Scan also confirmed the presence of stones. The doctor said that the patient was counseled and prepared for keyhole surgery for an hour, after which all the stones were removed.

Dr. Naveen Kumar, Dr. Venu Manne, Consultant Urologist, Dr. Mohan, Anesthesiologist participated in the entire operation.

Dr Naveen, who was involved in the operation, said that Ramalakshmaiah has recovered after the procedure and was discharged from the hospital on the second day.

Doctors at the hospital said that due to high temperature in summer, cases of dehydration increase in people.

As a result, the chances of stone formation in the kidney increase.

Doctors have advised people to consume more and more water and coconut water to keep themselves hydrated.
