Gisele Bundchen has spoken of one of the 'most traumatic moments' of her career, recalling how she cried at an Alexander McQueen fashion show in 1998, when she saw the extremely naked dress she had to model on the catwalk.

The 41-year-old mother of two was just 18 when she made her London Fashion Week debut in the late 1990s, an experience she now admits is one of the darkest memories of her career since dekadash.

Speaking of appearing on the runway in a new British Vogue video, Gisele - who is married to Tom Brady - shared her feelings when she saw the look she was expected to wear on the catwalk.

"This was one of the most traumatic moments," Gisele recalled, adding: "I had no evidence, so when I appeared on the show, I said, 'So what are you going to wear?'

"I could have said a few words [in English at the time], but I did not understand half the things, [so] I just pretended to understand.

I had no idea.

And I said, 'Is it a blouse or something?'

No, that was it.

"That's how I started crying."

"I had these feathers tied to my eyelashes, so while I was crying, they were coming off and the make-up artist said, 'Please do not cry!'

she recalls.

I was walking all the time thinking, "I hope my dad never sees these pictures."

However, the model insists she has turned the 'traumatic' experience into a learning opportunity, adding: "All I wanted to do was leave, but, you know, it's one of those things that makes you stronger."
