The Specialized Chambers have found former OVL KLA leaders Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj guilty.

Gucati and Haradinaj have been found guilty of publishing Special documents.

They were sentenced to four and a half years in prison each, and fined 100 euros.

The sentence will also include the time spent in detention from September 2020.

Hysni Gucati's son, Musliu, who was present in the courtroom, told RTV Dukagjini's "Debat Plus" about Gucati and Haradinaj's reaction after the country.

"I had communication with the parent and Mr. Haradinaj after the court decision.

I met with them in the detention rooms and just as they smiled when the decision was announced, they were also in the detention center.

"They are optimistic that the decision will be annulled or mitigated at the Appeal level."

However, Hysni Gucati's son says that the two former leaders of the OVL KLA were not surprised by the decision.

"From what I talked to the second, they have waited for such a decision also because of the length of the process and seeing the approach of the court and the space that the Prosecution had to act against them."
