Rising prices have caused difficulties in the household budget, but not in the state coffers.

In the first four months of the year alone, the budget has collected ALL 188 billion [EUR 1.5 billion], or ALL 35 billion [287.7 million] more than in January-April 2021.

A total of ALL 165 billion has been collected from taxes and customs [1.

4 billion euros].

At customs, the largest share is occupied by value added tax (VAT) on imports, which is 10 percent higher than last year, while mining royalties are 80 percent more than years, said the Ministry of Finance in a press release.

Even in taxes, revenues are 26 percent higher than a year ago.

It turns out that only from VAT, the state has collected a sum twice higher than years, while in value the money of employees who go for pension and health contributions are higher.

On the other hand, the government and the municipalities have not given up on spending.

In value they are the same as last year, but with rising prices in the market, they are lower.

In the difference between revenues and expenditures, this year results in a surplus of ALL 19 billion [EUR 156.2 million].
