Finland's accession to NATO will affect its relations with China.

APA reports quoting TASS that Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said at a press briefing.

"As for Finland's accession to NATO, it will undoubtedly create new factors in Sino-Finnish relations," the spokesman said.

The Chinese diplomat said that Beijing hopes that all stakeholders will establish a "reliable regional framework for security" through peaceful dialogue on a mutually beneficial basis, and China's position on this issue is "unchanging and unequivocal."

"The concerns of all parties must be taken into account. Only then can lasting peace in Europe be possible," said a Chinese foreign ministry spokesman.
