Former US President Donald Trump has responded to the news that the planned acquisition of Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Twitter has been temporarily suspended.

In this regard, through his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump told his followers that he believes that Musk will not continue with the acquisition of Twitter, writes Business Insider, reports Telegrafi.

"There is no chance that Elon Musk will buy Twitter at such a ridiculous price, especially after realizing that it is a company based primarily on BOTS (automated software used for interaction on social media) or unwanted accounts," Trump wrote. on Friday, for Mashable.

Otherwise, Musk said in a Twitter post on Friday that he plans to conduct his own search to determine the number of Twitter users who are "BOTS" before his purchase of the social media platform continues.

He also said the $ 44 billion deal was pending until he could verify that the fake accounts represent less than 5% of users.

Meanwhile, as Trump has claimed: "Only my opinion, but Social Truth is much better than Twitter and is absolutely explosive, extraordinary commitment."

Musk had warned that he would restore Trump's account once he owned Twitter, calling the decision to ban him a "morally bad decision."
