Georgian Foreign Minister Ilya Darchiashvili will visit Brussels on May 16-18.

The statement came from the Georgian Foreign Ministry, APA reports.

During the visit, he will meet with EU foreign ministers, the ministry said.

The meeting will focus on the country's integration into Europe and its response to the European Commission's inquiry.

Security and regional issues will also be discussed at the meetings.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has applied for EU candidate status.
