A massive fire broke out in a building in Delhi's Mundka on Friday.

New Delhi:

The fire in the building in Delhi's Mundka was spread by a CCTV company which is located in that building.

Both the owners of the company Varun Goyal and Satish Goyal have been arrested by the police.

Earlier, the police had taken both of them into custody.

The owner of the building, Manish Langda, is absconding.

In this horrific incident of fire, 27 people died and 12 injured people were injured.

The injured are undergoing treatment.

The company's manufacturing unit was on the first floor in this three-storey building.

There was a warehouse on the second floor and a lab on the third floor.

The highest number of deaths have been reported so far on the second floor.

Motivational speech was going on on the second floor itself.

Due to this program, more people were present there.

The owner of the building had built a small flat on the rest of the terrace.

The Fire Department and NDRF have started their search operation again in the morning.

A fire broke out in a three-storey commercial building located near Mundka metro station in the western area of ​​the national capital on Friday evening.

So far 27 people have been confirmed dead in this accident.

Police said that more than 50 people have been safely evacuated from the building.

According to fire department officials, they received information about the fire at 4.45 pm after which more than 30 fire tenders were sent to the spot.

The fire started near pillar number 544 of Mundka metro station.

The fire broke out in the office of the company that made the CCTV cameras and routers on the first floor of the building.

The owners of this company are Varun Goyal and Satish Goyal.

Within no time the fire engulfed the entire building.

Several feet high flames were seen from the three-storey building and firefighters had to struggle a lot to douse the flames amidst the horrific smoke.

The owners of the company Harish Goyal and Varun Goel have been arrested.

Police is looking for building owner Manish Lakra. Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain tweeted at 10.50 pm that the fire has been brought under control.
