Enrique Mora, Deputy Head of the European Union (EU) Foreign Policy Service and Coordinator for Nuclear Talks with Iran in Vienna, was detained by German police at Frankfurt Airport.

APA reports that Mora said this on his Twitter account.

He said that on his way back to Brussels from Tehran, police arrested him at the airport without explanation and confiscated his passport and phone.

Enrique Mora was later released.

He also said that the EU ambassador to Vienna and the head of the European External Action Service's (EEAS) working group on Iran had been arrested, but were being held separately.
