This is a slight increase of 50.6 million cubic meters on Thursday, but still below 72 million cubic meters delivered on Wednesday and well below 95.8 million cubic meters on Tuesday.

The application for gas supply through the Sokhranovka entry point was again rejected by Ukraine, Gazprom announced on Friday.

Russian gas flows to Europe through Ukraine have fallen sharply in recent days after the Ukrainian gas transmission operator used the Sohranovka route earlier this week.

Gazprom refuses to supply gas through Polish section of Yamal-Europe pipeline

At the beginning of Friday's trade, the price of natural gas in Europe is relatively stable around 106 euros per megawatt-hour, after yesterday's June futures on the Dutch gas hub TTF rose sharply to 115 euros per MWh amid Moscow's sanctions on Western ex-gas subsidiaries of the Russian "Gazprom".

As a result of these sanctions, Gazprom has stopped supplying natural gas through the Yamal-Europe pipeline through Poland, as well as supplying some Gazprom-Germany subsidiaries.
