New dramatic videos show a column of Russian tanks being blown up in front of the eyes of car drivers in Ukraine.

Ukraine's 54th Mechanized Brigade, based in the Donbas region, shared footage of a platoon being destroyed - accompanying the video with upbeat and patriotic music.

The video shows a line of Russian forces tanks - which the unit called "tourists" - run along an unidentified road.

Some of the military vehicles then suffered direct hits, exploding in flames, reports

nypost.

Another video shows a reporter and cameraman traveling by car through the city streets as they went to interview defenders at the Azovstal steel plant.

Phoenix TV in China said the blast occurred last Friday, when one of the two Russian tanks was hit in front of the journalist's eyes - who said he was rescued only after a soldier had previously told him to slow down.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian army claimed to have destroyed about 1,200 tanks and 2,873 other armored vehicles, as well as more than 2,000 different military vehicles and nearly 200 aircraft.

The armed forces also claimed to have killed at least 26,650 invading troops.
