Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviasiya) has announced another extension of restrictions on flights to the south and central part of the country.

APA's Moscow correspondent reports that the temporary restriction of flights at 11 Russian airports has been extended until 3:45 Moscow time on May 19, 2022.

We are talking about Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista.

Airlines are advised to build alternative routes through Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Moscow.

The rest of the country's airports operate on a regular basis.

It should be noted that since February 24, when Russia launched a special operation in Ukraine, flights to the southern and central regions have been restricted.
