The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson has arrived in Sweden.

APA reports quoting the Guardian that Prime Minister Johnson will pay a visit to Finland after concluding his meetings in Sweden.

During his 24-hour visit, Johnson is scheduled to meet with leaders of both countries to discuss Europe's response to the war in Ukraine and the two Northern European countries' ambitions for NATO membership.

According to the British Prime Minister's Office, the visit to the region is related to European security: "We understand the position of Sweden and Finland, and therefore the Prime Minister intends to discuss wider security issues."
