A criminal case has been launched on the suicide of a State Border Service officer.

Senior Assistant to the Republican Military Prosecutor, Head of the Press Service of the Military Prosecutor's Office, Chief Justice Adviser Firad Aliyev told APA.

He said that on May 10, 2022, the Shamkir military prosecutor's office received information about the suicide of Tarlan Rafig oglu Alizadeh, a serviceman of the State Border Service, by hanging himself in a service apartment that day:

"Based on the information received, the Shamkir military prosecutor's office inspected the scene and the body, seized items of material importance as evidence, received explanations, appointed relevant experts and took other necessary actions.


The Shamkir military prosecutor's office is currently investigating ."

All measures will be taken in accordance with the requirements of the legislation. "
