The first semifinal of the Eurovision-2022 song contest took place in Turin, Italy.
APA reports that representatives of 17 countries - Albania, Latvia, Lithuania, Switzerland, Slovenia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Moldova, Portugal, Croatia, Denmark, Austria, Iceland, Greece, Norway and Armenia performed in the first semifinal stage.
Immediately after the speeches, the voting process began.
The 10 countries with the most votes from 17 countries advanced to the finals on May 14.
These countries are: Switzerland, Armenia, Iceland, Lithuania, Portugal, Norway, Greece, Ukraine, Moldova, the Netherlands.
Azerbaijani representative Nadir Rustamli will play in the second semifinal on May 12.
