During his visit to the United States of America (USA), the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was received in a meeting by the Chief Executive of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), Alice Albright.

Former MP Visar Ymeri said that expectations from Prime Minister Kurti's visit to the US are high.

"The first is not that there have been many announcements of what the prime minister will do there.

"The only meeting we have seen is the one with the head of MCC, which I highly appreciate is an important project", said Ymeri.

Ymeri said that the energy storage agreement that Kurti has signed with MCC is very good.

"Agreements on storage capacities for electricity would solve a good part of the problems we have, especially with the difference in consumption that we have during the day and night.

This is a good deal.

"I'm not saying it's good that we withdrew from the gas deal, but the rest of the storage capacity deal is very good."

He says, however, that the expectations from Kurti's visit are higher than what has been seen so far.

"It's not that we know more about Kurti's visit to the United States.

Yesterday he announced that today he will be in San Francisco where he will meet with some companies that deal with the field of technology, which are necessary and fruitful meetings can be, but from a visit of the Prime Minister of course we expect more.

"We will have more, I do not know", added Ymeri. /
