Russian President Vladimir Putin appeared to be limping during Victory Day events in Moscow today and was also seen sitting with a blanket over his lap, raising new doubts about his health.

According to foreign media, the Telegraph reports, the 69-year-old Russian president took part in the event - which commemorates the surrender of Nazi Germany in 1945 while delivering a speech.

But at some point - including the moment he left the podium for speeches, and went to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to lay a wreath - Putin seemed to be taking a heavy step, as if trying to hide a lameness.

And, during the parade, he was seen sitting with a blanket over his knees, despite the fact that geriatric war veterans were sitting around him with their arms outstretched.

Each of these incidents would be easy enough to disprove - but together they will do little to dispel persistent rumors that Putin is facing health problems.
