ITBP personnel teaching children

Kondagaon:

Apart from fighting Left Wing Extremism, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has started coaching for school students from remote areas in Chhattisgarh.

The jawans are contributing in the education of children of remote rural and backward areas of Chhattisgarh's Kondagaon district.

At many places in Munjmeta, Farsagaon, Jhara and Dhaudai villages of the district, ITBP personnel of 29th Battalion are conducting coaching classes for about 200 students.

The hill trained force ITBP personnel are helping the students in their preparation to clear the entrance exams in Eklavya and Navodaya schools.

Let us inform that for the last few weeks, about 200 local tribal students are being provided coaching.

People from these areas are sending their children to these coaching classes.

ITBP is also providing study material to these students when needed.

It is worth mentioning that ITBP has been deployed in Chhattisgarh since 2009 to fight Left Wing Extremism.

The force has organized several civic action programs over the years.

ITBP has played a vital role in Chhattisgarh over the years in archery, hockey, judo and athletics by training hundreds of local students to make them state and national level players.
