The BJP alleged that members of the ruling Trinamool Congress killed Arjun Chaurasia.

A few hours before Union Home Minister Amit Shah

's visit to Kolkata, the body of a BJP worker was found in a suspicious condition.

After this death, allegations and counter-allegations have started between West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress and the main opposition party BJP for promoting violence and deaths.

BJP youth wing member Arjun Chaurasia was found hanging in a deserted building near his house in north Kolkata.

He was to lead a bike rally today at one of the events organized to welcome Amit Shah.

The BJP has alleged that he was murdered by the ruling Trinamool Congress, which has strongly denied it.

Mamta Banerjee retaliated on Amit Shah's statement of 'murder in Bengal', said a big thing about UP

In a tweet, BJP's Bengal unit said, "27-year-old BJYM Mandal Vice President Arjun Chaurasia was brutally murdered and hanged in North Kolkata. This relentless killing of opposition political workers exposes the collapse of democracy in West Bengal. 57 BJP workers have been killed in the last one year. TMC has strangled humanity!"

Senior Bengal BJP leader Rahul Sinha has alleged that the man was killed on the orders of top Trinamool leaders due to Amit Shah's visit.

"Our worker Arjun Chaurasia was murdered in Trinamool style because Home Minister Amit Shah's programs are going to happen today. Not only the lower level TMC leaders are involved in this incident but the top leadership is also involved," he said.

On the other hand, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's party has denied these allegations.

Trinamool MP Shantanu Sen said, "The allegations against us are baseless. Let the police investigate the matter."

Amit Shah, who is on a two-day visit to West Bengal, will visit Arjun Chaurasia's house this afternoon.

BJP said that it is canceling all welcome programs of Amit Shah due to his death.

The Home Minister has also asked the party to cancel the reception at the airport.
