Recently Poonawalla announced on Twitter that Kovovax is now available for kids in India.

He made a tweet in this regard, Covovax (Novavax) is now available for children in India.

It is the only vaccine manufactured in India which is also sold in Europe and its effectiveness is 90 percent.

This is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of providing another vaccine to protect our children. 

Let us inform that last week NTAGI (Technical Advisory Group on Immunization) approved Kovovax (COVID-19 vaccine) of Serum Institute of India for 12-17 age group.
