Electricity prices in Europe have risen compared to January.

APA reports that the price increase was different for different countries.

The most significant increase was recorded in Bulgaria with 103%.

The next places are shared by Greece (+ 96%) and Estonia (+ 83%).


In some countries, the decline was observed: Slovakia (-12%), the Czech Republic (-5%) and Portugal (-1%).

As for tariffs, the cheapest electricity is in Luxembourg: 19.89 euros per 100 kWh.

The price has not changed much since the beginning of the year in the Duchy.

The average price of electricity in Europe is 23.69 euros per 100 kWh.

The most expensive energy on the continent is in Denmark - 34.48 euros per 100 kWh.

Germany (32.34), Belgium (29.94) and France (20.22) are next.
