Nawab Malik: ED arrested in money laundering case

Mumbai:

Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik was taken from jail to hospital on Monday after his condition deteriorated.

According to the information, the condition of Nawab Malik was bad for three days.

He has filed a bail application on the medical ground before the special court.

The Enforcement Directorate was to file its reply on his bail application in the special court in Mumbai today.

Meanwhile, Nawab Malik's condition deteriorated. His lawyer said that Malik was ill for the past few days and after his condition deteriorated, he was taken from Arthur Road Jail to JJ Hospital via stretcher.

However, the ED has asked that if the condition of the Maharashtra minister was bad, then why was it not informed to the investigating agency.

On this, the ED demanded a hearing on the next date.

But the court said that the health of the accused is more important.
